Lovely and definitely am coming with my family
The service was impeccable and the staff extremely friendly. Sandile is definitely the best barman and all amenities are close and the vibe is great. The chalets were clean and spotless. Definitely worth the money!
Our stay would have been better if the lodge had a water supply. ,! We had to leave, being unable to have a wash,shower or use the toilet. ,
All was great except being made to setlle the bill on checkout after I'd already prepaid through Expedia. Worse still, after receiving a refund 3 weeks later, there was a short payment of over R700 which no one is able to explain. The hotel is yet to follow this up and get back to me.
This was a well put together trip and the service was perfect from the airline to our transport recommended by SA Express. Our drivers name was Susan and she is excellent in what she does, the best. The lodge was obviously out of this world and trust me i would recommend it to all. The attention to detail blew me away. The deco in the cabins were just on point. Definitely value for money. The animals, nature and the atmosphere as breath taking...I am sold. Thank you to the team. Thank you Erica, you a real leader...
The resort is ideally located near Durban which is a two hour drive away. I would consider the Resort to be B Grade however it represents excellent value for money. You have to be careful is selecting your room as some rooms are small and are design for families. Our room was too small for us however the Manager had no hesitation in moving us to a much larger and better appointed room.
We stayed for two nights - there is direct beach access with great views from the Sundowner bar. The restaurant is very good with a lake view. Note that it's not a 'standard' hotel - these are wooden lodges but well worth visiting.
I had a memorable holiday will definitely visit or recommend the hotel to my friends.
A one night stay prior to a safari. Chalet was clean comfortable and had wonderful character. Nice to walk on beach and watch monkeys play! Restaurant was good with nice selection for reasonable price---would absolutely stay here again
Hotel got room type wrong and i ended up waiting for 45min while staff looked for a twin since we had been given a double. Eventually we were told housekeeping would convert the room. We were given a free breakfast. Room was aged and fairly small with kitchenette.
