"Okay for an overnight stop"

Great location, plenty of car parking, staff friendly and helpful, nice bar area to sit and have a snack in

The room was far too hot, we reported it and someone came and turned the radiator off, but somehow it came back on in the middle of the night. Breakfast was okay, but not the best, left under a heat lamp too long and eggs over cooked. No organisation in breakfast room, after finding a table the waitress knew we were there and told us how it worked it went on to serve 4 tables that arrived after us. The photos on the website don’t fully represent what is on offer at the hotel, especially in the breakfast area.

"Dated and overpriced due to iron man"

Close to where we needed to be , free parking , comfy bed

The whole place is dated , needs modernisation, No pool 🏊‍♀️ anymore I remember when the place was quite grand and went to several weddings there .

"Fantastic staff"

The staff were absolutely amazing - we were there for the Ironman and they put on an early breakfast and had thought about what we might most want. They helped with some tools that I needed and let us keep our bike in our room. All in all excellent
