Le Val Thorens, a Beaumier hotel

Very friendly, lovely welcoming staff. Breakfast excellent.

Abit chilly at times. Fondue restaurant not worth it. Expensive and a faff trying to cook a large plate of meat in a small fondue

Right in the centre of the town, ski in ski out and the staff were excellent.

Nothing we didn’t like!

My daughter and I had breakfast each day. There was a good variety of fresh food, which was well presented and good quality. We had dinner one evening and the buffet was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. The hotel was very accommodating us in allowing to check out on our final day, leave our bags, shower and change at the end of the day.

Honestly - nothing.

Lovely room overlooking the central square of Val Thorens, everything about the hotel was perfect, we didn't get to use the SPA as we were out skiing, the breakfast was lovely as was the bar area.

Hotel staff is normally not that friendly in Val Thorens, but this is a very welcome exception. Great and helpful staff (except for bar personnel).

We paid top dollars for our stay, around 700 euro a night for a 2 person room. Nothing fancy but that is okay. What is not okay is the noise coming from the bar when you want to get to sleep at normal times, nor the smell of food from the kitchen in the rooms (we were located at the second floor, higher levels possible less prone to such).

Location.

Housekeeping very poor. Repeatedly had to ask for things that hadn’t been replaced.
