Appart'Hôtel le Génépy

We only stayed here one night but we slept very well and would happily stay there again. It's actually an apartment with a kitchen so if you're going to be in the Chamonix for a while it makes sense to stay there as you can buy groceries at a store right around the corner and eat "at home."

We arrived late at the hotel. The lady was waiting for us. And she helped to set up the crib. Everything is clean and nice in all rooms. We will come and stay at this hotel again in future.

The accommodation was amazing, very central, very clean and we are planning to return...

Very nice, clean, modern property in a great location right by lots of quaint restaurants and shops. This place has plenty of space, great amenities and amazing views from the balcony (unit #8.) Overall Appart'Hôtel le Génépy is outstanding and we would highly recommend it to anyone. Iuliana at the front office was helpful and professional. If we were to nitpick, here are 3 areas for improvement: 1) no A/C meant we had to open our windows as it was quite warm in August. There were a few drunk people on the street making lots of noise till about 2:30am. A portable fan in the room would have been great. 2) the beds were comfy but the pillows so thick (never seen such big pillows before) that I'm guessing most guests do not use them. 3) we arrived after the front office closed (think it closed at 7pm.) As a result, finding our room and gaining access was initially a bit confusing. We called an after hour phone number and the gentleman who answered was helpful. When we called again 5 minutes later there was no answer. Regardless of these minor issues, we hope to visit again for an even longer stay.

The staff was excellent, super friendly and accommodating. The apartment was perfect with a full kitchen with dishwasher and stove top. Beds were likewise comfortable. Best of all was that we had a 2nd floor apartment with spectacular views of the mountain. I don't think a lower floor would be acceptable as besides having little privacy you would have no view. The supermarket is right around the corner so meals are super easy to fix on a whim. Would defenitely recommend

We traveled for 2 months and this was one of our favorite places! The location is perfect, just steps away from bars, restaurants and shops. The apartment itself was modern, clean, and spacious. The woman that manages the property was super friendly and helpful! We would highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is tucked around a corner, so finding the building the first time is challenging. There is no sign to ok indicate where the office is, and it's not in the lobby. The apartment itself is quite nice. We found it odd that there are three beds in the bedroom. The sofa bed has a good mattress. The kitchen is well-equipped, down to a lemon juicer. Having a dishwasher was a nice surprise!

Very helpful staff, amazing Mont Blanc view from balcony, clean room and bathroom, and the kitchenette is well equipped .

Wow, what a great place to stay! I loved everything about it especially that the organic/vegan cafe (with lots of gluten free options) was only a three minute walk. The staff was friendly and helpful- especially Luliana! The apartment was Clean, modern, and had a beautiful view from the balcony... also great location and Wifi.

People were great. Location is excellent; near to restaurants and centre of town. The apartment was very modern and well furnished. You can drop off at the front of the hotel and park close by, but driving there is slightly complicated because of the pedestrian area close by.
