Appart'Hôtel le Génépy

My stay at Appart'Hôtel le Génépy was wonderful and the hosts very accommodating. I was able to check in early, and rest from my travels. I stayed on the bottom floor since I had a studio suite, and access to this apt was convenient and directly from the street. The apartments are great - they come with all necessities in the kitchen which can be a nice touch of home for travelers. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of warm water. Would definitely come back.

My family and I stayed for 4 nights at Genepy and had a wonderful time. Our “superior 1 bedroom” was perfect for the 4 of us. It came with a full kitchen, which was perfect for preparing breakfast and dinner (especially with the grocery store next door). If you don’t want to cook the hotel is perfectly located to the main pedestrian plaza with countless nice restaurants and bistros. We were able to rent skis friend intersport, 100 M away, and Genepy offered a 20% coupon for rentals. We were able to store our skis and boots (with a boot warmer) in their ground floor ski room. The slopes were easily accessible with a free city bus 1.5 blocks away or a ten min walk. The gondola to A I’Aiguille du Midi is 10 min walk from hotel (tip book online the day before so you don’t need to wait to go up). Likewise the train to the ice cave and Montenvers also a short walk. The staff were terrific. When we arrived they helped show us places on the map and also secured our lift tickets. Our room was always nicely cleaned when we returned for the day. Certainly will stay here again during our next visit to Chamonix.

Excellent location in the center of Chamonix. The Market is around the corner along with all the shops and restaurants. Hotel was clean and well furnished with daily cleaning of room. Ski storage was convenient and hostess Ala was great making recommendations and setting up ski passes. Overall A+ experience. Thank you.

Great location and cute apartment - loved the snug bedroom upstairs. V helpful staff too. Very modern and stylish so highly recommend.

Apartment extremely well situated in center of Chamonix village and walking distance to everything. Kitchen very well equipped and grocery store just beside is a big plus to buy anything if needed, but many restaurants all around as well. No parking onsite, but parking not very far for just 14 euros a day, however better to drop off luggage first. Check-out is a bit early at 10am, but it's possible to leave luggage in a secured area if needed. I recommend and would stay there again.

The Appart'Hotel le Genepy was a very pleasant surprise. I just needed a place to start my hikes in the Chamonix area, but this hotel greatly exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect, and the apartment style room was excellent. It even had a wonderful patio to sit out and drink a glass of wine.

Very nice quiet hotel, close to everything. Iuliana at the front desk was very kind and helpful during our stay with information about things to do and where to eat. Well equipt room,

Once we had worked out how to use the cooker the hotel was perfect. Modern, warm, clean and with everything we could need. We stayed with my two daughters who we gave the bed so we slept on the bed settee, worried it would be uncomfortable. It was not. Very comfortable! It is a great location in the centre of Chamonix and next to a supermarket.
