Mantra in the Village

Great location in centre of town, but quiet and relaxing. The pool - hardly anybody using except us.

Some areas looking tired and in need of a spruce up. Pool surface is rough and has sharp edges. I wouldn't recommend for kids.

The accommodation was central very conveniently located in the street with pavement cafes and interesting shops nearby. The large trees brought the birds in morning and night. The outlook from the unit was the village with people passing below. It was a 2 minute walk to the marina to the dive boats and a little walk to Four Mile beach and the beach cafe.

What a lovely clean and tidy hotel, Cilly was lovely calling to welcome us the day before and having our room ready early on arrival,Parking outside is not ideal in this day and age but my fault for having a large vehicle

the reception phone and the room phone was very faint, I could hardly hear the receptionist on both occasions that I used the the phone, but Cilly did do her best to raise her voice but it did not help me being a little hard of hearing

Inconvenient neighbours spoilt the experience though. They ran a dryer very late at night a few times and cooked in their room causing the alarm amd evacuation alert to wake me and force me out of the appartment in my pajamas. No damage was done apparently so back inside soon, but then wide awake and couldn't get back to sleep!

Property is in very good condition with excellent pool facilities, close to shops and entertainment venues. Great value for money

Location is in town centre very close to either end of Port Douglas.

Great location. Comfortable place. Second bedroom was very noisy because it only had shutters, not air-tight windows.
