OYO Kirkconnel Hall Hotel

Loved our experience at this fantastic cozy site! The staff treated us like family. The fireplace in the lobby brought a warm-hearted welcome. The food at the restaurant was beautifully cooked and well presented! Would highly recommend this place to everyone!!

This hotel is very well kept in terms of both decoration and cleanliness. There is a lovely bar which is also well priced. The evening meal was excellent and a very generous portion. The Manager / owner seems to work hard to keep the hotel at a good standard. I hope to visit again

Great location next to motorway off a slip road, which was perfect for our pit stop on a long 500 mile journey. Friendly owners, and have booked for our return journey.

My partner and i stayed Was nice hotel staff where friendly and welcoming. Plenty of guest parking. However hotel furnishings are a little dated carpets where old and worn and seating around the hotel was much the same. Having said that i would stay again nice location.

lots of interesting things to see in the hotel. very good selection of whisky on the bar.friendly host and close to Gretna Green and other places of interest. good stopover place on the way to the North of Scotland. friendly host

A last minute booking meant I arrived late at the hotel (just after 10pm). The manager was very friendly and accommodating. I had to leave early the next morning before the scheduled breakfast start so he made me a takeout sandwich with plenty of fresh fruit. A lovely stay!

We were a party of thirteen . John our Host met us at Reception and soon sorted the various rooms . We returned to the lounge bar where John served us drinks and collated the dinner orders Dinner was superb - delicious home cooking with prime meat and fish plus spot-on veg The rooms were very comfortable and immaculately clean Breakfast was just as good as the previous night's dinner , with plenty of choice of top quality items Checkout was friendly and the bill was way less than I expected for such a stay Marvellous ! Thank you John , David , and your lovely staff

Short Stop over on the Way to Skye. Lovely friendly place. Dogs welcomed.Nice walk to top of the hill for some great views. Great Cooked Breakfast to set you up for the day. If you have time check out the Antique room.all for sale.Will definitely Help you reminisce you youth( your old enough lol)
