Best place to stay in and enjoy winter

**Safety Concerns – Proceed with Caution** I rented this condo for a getaway this past March, and while it was otherwise a good stay, unfortunately, we had a serious safety incident. I invited a friend to stay with us. When they started to open the glass door to exit the shower it suddenly exploded, leaving them in shock and covered with cuts. Luckily, none of their wounds needed stitches, but they were in quite a bit of pain from all the wounds on their feet, hands, and legs when they walked. The whole experience was awful. This happened on the morning we had planned to check out. When we spoke to the condo manager during check out, I was frustrated by his lack of concern. He was careful not to apologize or take any responsibility, seeming to be more concerned about liability than trying to make things right. He said multiple times, “the glass did what it was supposed to do,” — referencing that it was safety glass and it could have been worse. We asked if they could offer any compensation for what happened, but he said he had our contact information and he would get back to us about that. It’s been months now, and despite multiple calls and emails, we haven’t heard anything. If you stay here, be aware that management might not take responsibility for accidents or refuse to communicate if something does go wrong.

Simba Run was great property to stay at during our time in Vail. Could use a little more safety by keeping the entry doors from the garage into the property locked especially at night. Though there was a double lock, staying right off the elevator and by an exit door felt like we needed a little extra security like a cross bar on our unit door. The entire unit was clean and very spacious for us. Very affordable for an offseason stay.

terrible experience, we keep receiving text messages about the after hours check in with a code, we arrived around 9 pm, no one was available at check in, safe box had a key for some other tenant of the building, we called the numbers at least 20 times and no one answered. Another family had similar problem, we used counter desk phone and then someone out of state who was managing the property answered and said he cant help much and will try to get a hold of someone. after 3 hours of struggling we got maintenance person who helped us to get into the room, where there was no air conditioning in the apartment. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Very nice and clean. A bit older but well-maintained and roomy.

we have stayed here before and had a great experience. we arrived at 6:10 which was after hours (8-3:45), could not access room. called the contact # in text - no answer. had to do down to desk to find another contact #. Maintenance did arrive fairly quick to determine the door lock needed batteries. Paid for 4 quests, the particular unit had a queen in 2nd BR and sofa was not a pull-out, although this was specifically noted in the room description. The real issue turned out to be no toilet paper in either of the bathrooms. again, try to reach desk and told us to try to get to morning and they would deliver - seriously. will think twice about staying here again

Excellent place to stay. We came in after hours and the property left detailed instructions on how to get in. Our condo was adorable and comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!
