Old scottish inn. Dated in parts but warm, clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful

Great from start to finish; friendly staff at check in/out nice room, excellent bed, and best full Scottish breakfast I had during my 7 night NC 500 tour. Bar/restaurant seems to be frequented by non-residents, which is usually a good sign, our meals were good. would defiantly come back

Simple efficient check in and a lovely clean room. We had dinner in the hotel with Cullen skink that made me smile, and I like good Cullen skink. Definitely worth future visits.

Nice place staff very friendly & attentive.

All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Perfect location for us only half an hour from John o Groats. We had our evening meal and breakfast both were lovely cooked fresh and hot. We booked a canopy bed and were not disappointed. Bed and pillows were extremely comfy.

Clean and friendly dwelling with a good bar and food. The morning breakfast was very nice.
