Stone House Hotel ‘A Bespoke Hotel’

Location good. Easy access to M6. Pleasant staff but kept on asking us for a recommendation which was a bit irritating! Food menu good but whole hotel rather smelled like an Indian Restaurant which was a bit much after a while. Gardens were nice to look at.

Room was incredibly hot - even with window open wide and fan placed in window to push in cold air. No through draft so nothing more we could have done as room is 'roof space' so sun directly affected temperature. Breakfast ok but everything came in 'pots' and was a bit dried out. Was planning to use pool and spa but very small and crowded so didn't fancy it in the end when we looked in.

Fabulous and exceptional Indian food. Great staff. Beautiful house and gardens.

Wine list could have been a bit more extensive.

I enjoyed the old country estate feel of a bygone era.

Close to Aston Marina for an event Reception friendly. Vegan/vegetarian options available on request. Tea, coffee & toiletries provided in room.

No king-size bed option-bed too small if you are tall due to wooden base! In need of some repairs and updating, tired decor and presentation. Cooked breakfast was small and lack of quality ingredients & presentation. Tea cups and saucers were not clean. Not many staff around to be attentive.
