Bar staff were excellent and so was the breakfast.

When arrived given directions to room. After going up and down several flights of stairs and going around in circles we returned to reception. At the time we stayed the weather was extremely hot so all we wanted to do was drop our bags and relax. Shown to room by reception. Room was tiny, double bed with side table each side and not enough room to swing a cat and with the wardrobes located in the bathroom! Not great for the over £100 that we paid. Bathroom radiator was on and there was no air con available. To say that the room was extremely hot would be putting it mildly. Went back to reception explained the situation and asked for a different room. Given a disabled access room as a supposed upgrade and was charged an additional £20.00 for the privilege! I have never slept on a more uncomfortable bed in my entire life and this resulted in considerable back pain in the morning. Thank you.
