Excellent hotel, nice specious rooms, clean bathrooms, great view and best breakfast. The only issue is the front desk staff and checkin process. Young man at the reception desk mixed up the rooms. We booked and paid extra for Nile River view. We were give one nice upgraded room, but second room was all the to the other side of the building without Nile River view.

The Basma hotel is an absolutely beautiful place, great restaurant and spacious rooms. Fantastic views overlooking the city, peaceful and quiet. Lovely bar service. A wonderful experience, would definitely recommend to anyone in Aswan.

Warm welcome excellent staff, especially Miryam and Maria! Good location and restaurant. Beautiful terrace. Very Nice views on the River Nile. Close to Nubian museum. Not be missed. And interesting trips to The Dam, and unfinished obelisk.

The rooms are super clean, they have a big pool outdoors. It’s very luxurious for the price you pay. The food here is also very fresh and nice and easy on the stomach. The location of the hotel is high so you get a nice view over the city. It’s very calm and they help a lot if you ask. I know as a solo traveler you can feel safe here even if you are a woman♥️ I just wanted to say a big thanks to all the staff here they are truly amazing and wonderful people ♥️

Guest relation manager Reham had contacted us prior to our visit to ensure that any of our special requests could be accommodated. Maria was very helpful at check-in and offered us a complimentary upgrade and even arranged for a cake to celebrate our son's birthday. The location of the property on the top of the hill was quite unique and gave a view of the unfinished obelisk and the Nile, with good sunrise/sunset view. Would definitely recommend this property.

A wonderful Hotel location and personal and you feel like you are taken care of and your spirit is flying over the place. The service of the personal ist great especially in the restaurant by Mr Ahmed Aly and the whole staff. Take a break of the stress and travel to Aswan in winter and stay at Basma Hotel.

Great . Te Hotel is more than excellent. Everyone is great . The service is marvellous. We really enjoy being at the hotel we feel at home .basma hotel became our second home in Aswan . So we love being in the hotel as if you are at home . So recommend the hotel to all people
