Roman Way Hotel A5 Cannock

Very quick check in room very clean

Overall room wasn’t the greatest but for the price we didn’t moan.

Staff were wonderful Could probably use a small renovation to keep up with other hotels who seem to be modernising, but otherwise perfectly fine

Property was dated and run down certainly not 3 star.

This hotel needs a major upgrade.

Hot night in June. No air-conditioning so windows had to be left open. All rooms open out onto car park. Wedding reception at Hotel. No problem with main event but guest staying up until 3 am and setting on their party outside made sleeping difficult women several times between 2 and 3. Also most guest left for home around 6:30 am. Car park went from full at 6 to almost empty by 7. Women early so left early. No one on reception to make comments to.

The beds were good, the property is somewhat tired. Fine if your staying overnight

At first arival the staff were friendly and gave us our room key, after a 10 minute walk we got to the room and it was filthy, carpets and walls were stained with filth and dust everywhere. Our room was nothing like what was advertised on the website. We down go reception and said our room was filthy and we wasnt staying in there, they asked what room we was in and as soon as well told them they said “oh yeah, one second” as if they knew it was filthy. 5 minutes later they came back and gave us the key to the bridal suite which was beautiful and completely amazing. So in the end the stay was amazing and tbe staff was amazing with helping us out.

Very thin walls, so can be very noisy. Basic rooms but comfy enough.

Could do with sprucing up but a pleasant stay Has not been updated for many years.
