What I enjoyed most about the hotel was the generous room size, the comfort of the bed, and the overall comfort of the room. In addition, the hotel’s location was ideal and very convenient.

My recent stay, for my birthday weekend. I chose your hotel based on the experience presented on your website, particularly the spa and pool facilities, which I was very much looking forward to enjoying with my children. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations across several areas. Upon arriving at the spa and pool reception, I was not informed that the pool temperature was below the normal required warm level. After showering and entering the pool, it was immediately apparent that the water was cold. When I exited the pool to query this with the receptionist, I was surprised that the focus of the interaction was on rules, specifically that I had walked to the reception area without flip-flops, rather than on addressing the concern raised about the pool temperature. Had I been informed in advance that the pool was operating below its normal temperature, I would have chosen not to use it at all. My children were particularly disappointed, as they had been looking forward to using the pool, and instead felt uncomfortable and miserable during what was meant to be a special experience. In addition, I was very concerned by the hygiene standards at breakfast. The cutlery and glasses were not clean, and the juice station—including the containers holding the juice, was visibly dirty and unpleasant. This is far below the standard expected of a hotel and spa of this calibre. The room itself. A “room freshen-up” notice was placed on the door, yet no service was carried out. Furthermore, the bed was made without a proper sheet, which resulted in sleeping directly on a duvet. This was particularly disappointing as I had explicitly raised the need for a sheet with hotel reception, yet the issue was still not addressed. I believe these issues, particularly the pool temperature and room shortcomings,should have been communicated and resolved proactively. Ideally, notification of the pool issue should have been sent prior to arrival, to allow me make an alternative.

Fire alarm went off in the room about 5am for about 5 minutes don’t no why but scared the kids and could not get back to sleep so fort I’d run a bath but no hot water was a joke

The staff were friendly

Really disappointed considering this was a spa hotel beds were rubbish and very uncomfortable the bathroom was terrible the shower had no hose and the bath was very narrow and very difficult to stand in although it had a shower attachment the who morning shower experience was terrible in addition they were really stingy with the soaps etc as there was hardly nothing in the bottles you can not ask for more once your in the shower.

Room was great, comfortable and spacious. Complementary drinks were a nice touch. Gym had great equipment, Restaurant food was very good. Comprehensive breakfast selection. Would 100% stay again.

Pool, jacuzzi etc was closed.
