Room (suite) was a good size but air vent in window in the lounge area (where I slept) was broken (open) so was let away by road noise.

The boiler in the leisure club had broken “earlier in the week” but this was only made clear on a notice on check-in - the use of the pool/sauna etc had been a key driver of booking - we’ve stayed three times before for sports (hockey) trips as this one was for No reduction of tarrif albeit a suggestion of a reduction on a future visit. No instructions for coffee machine in room and breakfast was fairly average with limitless options and no cups on table for tea/coffee etc.

Breakfast was good.

Couldn't see everything as the spa was closed. Then the staff was not polite, in fact unless you keep asking they won't even go to check out what is going on.

Lovely area, nice rooms and facilities and friendly staff who were very helpful and did all they could to improve our stay.

Spa was closed down from two days before we arrived and we weren’t informed of this. The whole point of the stay was for a spa babymoon, so if the hotel had informed us in advance we would have rearranged the trip.

"Nice hotel, rooms need a good clean"

Communal areas all nice, nice vibe and breakfast was really good.

Room was grubby and unclean. I had to stop my children playing on the floor, it was that bad. Under the beds had not been cleaned in months and that is not an exaggeration.
