Grand Palladium Select White Sand Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

Very nice, well maintained resort in beautiful Riviera Maya. Great pools and friendly staff. However, buffet restaurants are repetitive, slow to replenish dishes, and generally slow service. À la cart restaurants are nice with good variety, but really difficult to book and get reservations, especially with large groups in multiple rooms. Entertainment and engagement is not well organized/advertised and beach watersport activity staff is uninterested in customer service. Other sport facilities/equipment and staff was great. Still had a good time, but not rushing to return.

Incredible vacation with my family! The resort was absolutely stunning and well taken care of. It was great having access to the entire resort. I liked how White Sands was a bit quieter while the other resort was where the activities happen. The staff are super friendly and helpful. All the activities provided had so much variety from painting lessons to aquagym and tortilla making. There was an activity for everyone! Super happy with this experience. My one complaint is in the buffet style cooking. There was lots of cross contamination and the food was often cold. It was a little challenging to find enough food to eat as a vegetarian, but there were plenty of meat friendly options. Overall I would definitely come here again!

Carlos is the best - we enjoyed our Zumba classes every single day with him. We looked forward to his classes every morning - they are so energetic and fun. He spent time getting to know guests, always cheered us up by having us smile and laugh, and helped us burn some calories!

We booked 2 rooms for our family of 5 .They didn’t have 2 rooms for us at white sand . So for the first 2 nights they separated us .2 went to TRS and 3 stayed at white sand ! Lol Not an issue for the front desk …they look at you with a big smile and says can’t do anything about it lol Terrible family experience!

As already mentioned throughout this survey. Staff was superficially polite, but completely unable to solve any problems or issues raised. Service in restaurants was poor. Quality of food was poor. Overall, seemed like a failure of management.

Accessible and staff always friendly. First time to Mexico to stay at resort and would love to return back. Celebrated the new year party on the beach was so fun! Muchas gracias !!

Nice place, good food, good selection of food. Good pools, nice beach. Maintenance wise it's run down and lot of items are broken. The app and scheduling are disorganized and are innacurate. You have to sign up for everything but if there are changes you won't know until you show up and it's not happening.

Had a wonderful girls trip to Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres, so I wanted to try another Palladium with a water park for a family vacation. First off, the water park is only for small children under 4’. This is very strange for an American family who has enjoyed Kalahari and Great Wolf Lodge. In the US, parents get to enjoy water slides with their kids. The fact it’s only for small children was not posted anywhere online or at the resort. Second, we really enjoyed Zentropia Spa in Costa Mujeres, but our experience at the Zentropia Riviera Maya was uncomfortable and embarrassing. They booked my 11yo son, my husband and I, but would not allow us to use the facilities other than the toilet and the massage room. We were blocked from the hydrotherapy, showers and locker rooms. They said it was all 18+. Again, this was not posted anywhere online or at the resort. They did offer to give my son a PlayStation to use while we used the hydrotherapy circuit, but our entire focus is togetherness and a screen break while vacationing. Given this, there is nothing for children above 4’ who are not yet 18. Not very family friendly. We ended up dropping a few hundred more to take a day trip. Last, my points from my previous stay expired so there was zero reward for loyalty anyway! Their point system caused annoying phone calls to the room at all hours.

Terrible food, phones were not working,sink kept clogging, I would not recommend this resort to anyone. If I could I would rate 0 star

Overall excellent resort for the value. Food was good, ambience was excellent, felt safe, the staff made us feel like they cared we had a great stay. Alejandro, ambassador at the white sands desk was fantastic. He went out of his way to make us comfortable when he helped us with a room change and a late check out for a late flight. As a diamond Wyndham member, titanium Marriott member and explorist Hyatt member I stay at a lot of hotels and resorts and i felt more appreciated here and had a great stay than any of the others. Thanks Alejandro and all of the staff. From the concierges to the restaurant staff to maintenance and cleaning. Everyone’s efficient and pleasant and seemed happy. Will definitely be staying here again
