Hotel Villa Carlotta

Extremely attentive staff. Incredible views from a fabulous location. Although only steps from the activities in Taormina, our terrace was so quiet and peaceful with only the sounds of songbirds and nature. I considered foregoing the rest of my Sicily tour and staying there! However, our suite was not available for me to do that. 🙂

In summary this hotel is not worth the money!  We were disappointed with the hotel overall, I wrote to the hotel to notify them we were celebrating our honeymoon however there was no acknowledgement at any point during our 6 night stay.. there were some details that should be covered as basis within a good service, for example replacing the water every day, however we were told we would only get two bottles at arrival then we would have to pay (ironically if you book one night at the time you could get water at arrival!) We booked a room with a terrace, which was very generous in size however the room itself was very dark.. also the bed was very hard. We did not complain about this as didn't want to compromise on the terrace. Personally prefer brighter rooms or spaces. The pool and garden areas are nice but the gym is very very small. Our stay was pleasant, staff was attentive, the breakfast was very good.. and the location of the hotel was very convenient but these are basics for the amount paid so definitely would not stay here again it was definitely not worth 675 Euros per night (including taxes). Also if you book with Booking at least you get the airport transfer for free which the hotel does not offer and can arrange at a higher fee than the standard.

So fun. This hotel was a highlight of the trip. Great breakfast. Beautiful hotel. Fun walk around.

Evetything was perfect

Great property for our group of 8, including 4 children (ages 6-10). Primary bedroom on ground floor, 3 others upstairs. Good layout, conveniently located and much within walking distance (shopping, gelato, quality restaurants, etc.) Also very private with good amount of outdoor space. Service and communication from staff was exceptional

Beautiful boutique hotel close to great restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly and willing to offer local recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend
