Hotel Amalfi

The front desk staff was very helpful in arranging our transportation to the airport. They were also able to have our room ready earlier than planned. They were awesome!

The large room with fresh Italian decor, the jacuzzi, the free mini-bar with drinks and snacks, the breakfast buffet. I reserved this room the night before while staying in another room at the hotel and they made sure I got into this room without delay. They helped me get the last taxi available to Pompeii and brought me to the parking garage and made sure everything was in order. They helped me with my luggage and escorted me to the room. I felt very comfortable and appreciated.

Great service provided by staff. 24/7 front desk service. Breakfast provided every morning on the roof was delicious and had a wonderful view! In the heart of Amalfi and easily accessible by a few stairs. If you have a lot of luggage there is an elevator that you can take instead of walking up the stairs. Bus and ferry’s are a few minutes walk. If you need help with booking ferries, bus information or booking excursions the front desk is happy to help. Definitely worth the stay!!

Excellent location , staff and breakfast. In the center of all the action very short easy walk to the beach, ferry and bus terminals. I took the standard double room which was very convenient but old style , next time if I will go again I will take the more modern deluxe room ( more expensive though ). The area was not quite being in the center of the city .

We are a family of four arriving up those long steps with 4 big suitcases and we were brought there by a luggage carrier person (who tried to extort 10 euros per suitcase) and calling us crazy because we said the fees were included (all our transportation and transfers were made-paid and organized by our airline-travel agency). We found out he brought us to the wrong hotel and the old italian man ther, the owner of the hotel who was there, instead of helping us, began yelling at us to leave and banging on the counter! Like he was happy at our misfortune!. My daughter was crying... I can't believe people acting this way and how they can sleep at night and live with themselves...Not only unprofessional but really mean in the worst way... I can't express enough how nobody should encourage a bully like that....

I booked a room that had a bath tub (based on the photos of the room on the website) but was given one with a shower! I was travelling with a elder relative that had some pain and itching in her feet and a soak in a 🛁 bath tub brings relief! I explained this to the receptionist (a very lovely and kind gentleman) on arrival but was told nothing could be done until the next day. The next day I explained the same thing to the receptionist (a lady) and she informed me that the room doesn’t in fact have a bath and the photos used were from another room! She refused to rectify the issue and asked that if wanted a room with a tub, I pay more money to be put in another room with a bath tub! I could not afford to do this, as I had already paid more for the boutique room that supposedly had a bath 🛁 based on the photos on the website but turned out not to have a bath! This upset our stay as my relative was in discomfort. I believe guests are misled by the website and the hotel should have done something to rectify this issue, and will not be coming back to this hotel!
