Hotel Amalfi

This hotel accommodated us last-minute. Staff was very friendly, premises were outdated but clean. Off the main strip, but quiet nonetheless. Great location!

Stayed in hotel apartment rather than main hotel so please bear that in mind....... Nice apartment but LOADS of steps (we're talking 8 flights here, lots of breathless jokes about "base camp" and "final ascent".). Owner offered us a deal of bringing suitcase up there for 15 euros. We said "No thanks". DON'T make same mistake. Worth 20 euros. It's a long way up. But once you get there it's brilliant. Nice rooms, good kitchen, big bathroom and lovely sitting room. Rooftop terrace is also great. One final moan,....the en-suite bathroom on top floor bedroom Is pretty rubbish. Shower runs cold after 20 seconds and is VERY tiny, so really better suited for children. But would you want kids on floor above you with access to rooftop terrace??? Not sure I would. Otherwise it's a good apartment if you can cope with all those stairs. Gets you fit pretty quickly

If you’re visiting Amalfi for a short stay I highly recommend this hotel. Great spot to walk and explore and the staff was super friendly. If you drive in, be prepared for a little craziness. The street to the hotel is on a predominantly foot traveled road so at times yoh worry you’re driving in a spot you’re not supposed to be at. Once you get all the people out the way it’s a 5 minute drive to the hotel where they will help car the car onsite. Other than that the spot was great.

Perfectly located in the heart of Amalfi steps from Piazza Duomo. This was our fourth stay in Amalfi and first at this hotel. This hotel is the best by far. The entire team at Hotel Amalfi from reception, management, housekeeping and security were an absolute joy. Always cheerful, professional, welcoming and helpful. Special thanks to Sara, Maria and Ciro- they provided exceptional personal and world class service. The spacious suite was renovated and very well done. The bed was so comfortable!! Everything about the suite was perfect- super clean, modern and very quiet!

Super good hotel. Just in the heart of Amalfi. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast on the rooftop. Hotel provides beach towels to use on the free beach, so there is no need to rent chairs or buy towels in the store, and then carry them around. Hotel is just on the main street with all the restaurants and shops.

It was right in the middle of everything but you had to walk down some steps to get there. Room was amazing. Sleeping was great. Can’t even say enough good things about the staff! They were the best!

The best part of this stay was the location- not difficult to get our luggage to and from here and made it easy to explore Amalfi town. Unfortunately I felt that the cleanliness could’ve been better for a 3 star hotel and the linens/ shower quality were also a let down.

The hotel itself is fine. Good location, friendly staff, good breakfast. We stayed in a "standard room," and you get what you pay for. The beds were horrible! Mattress was way to hard. Bedspreads were ancient, and the room was dated. There seems to be an older section and a newer section so if you select a standard room, you'll get what we got. Bearable for one night, but not for three.

Great clean hotel in a fantastic location minutes from all modes of transportation, sites, shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We arrived to check in at midnight and Matteo couldn’t not have been more attentive to our needs.
