room on arrival not on time,spa not upto standard,especially the tgerapists

golf visit--course in excellent condition all hotel services first class

We were doing a 3 day trail race in the area and Arabella was perfect to recuperate everyday.

Friendly check in with pleasant staff. Good breakfast. Downside - no clock in the room and water for the whole stay was barely hot enough for a shower, certainly not hot enough for a bath. Had to ask twice for glasses to be put in the room.

Lovely stay but could not pick up wifi in our room and there were no 2 prong plugs next to beds for phones.

This is a beautiful hotel in a very lovely natural setting. The overall facilities are lovely as is the golf course. The staff was kind and helpful. The only issue is that the food is quite average. I would have expected better from this facility. The breakfast buffet was ok but the dinner was really trying too hard to be very fancy and failed in this respect. We were looking for good family food but the restaurant could not deliver on this. We had dinner and then had to order simple room-service food to get what we were looking for. Overall, I would return to this hotel but would not use the main restaurant.

The Hotel is beautiful, it is a 5* house. But the food offered for breakfast and even for dinner is worth less then 3*. Even the beautiful bar offers just standard drinks.

A first class hotel in a beautiful location. Wonderful views, and excellent service from friendly and helpful staff. We found the travel desk particularly good. Food good but not exceptional. Buffet was very humdrum and often cold. Magnificent golf course in tiptop condition. Expensive, but worth it.

The stay was to mark my 70th birthday with my wife.We also played on the golf course which was a fantastic experience.
