Hotel Hamar

Great stay with nice rooms, restaurant, and is near some other places to eat as well. The best part was definitely the view from the sauna and hot tubs, which were excellent as well.

Near a a great golf course.

We stayed in the new cabins. We loved it. Super clean and modern. Very close to sauna and hot tub. Breakfast was amazing! We’re thinking of coming back to Iceland just to stay in the cabins!

Amazing stay, great view and breakfast

What a gem this place is! Right on the golf course outside Borgarnes, this hotel offers beautiful views and delicious food. Of course there is also sauna and hot tub.

Delightful stay at Hotel Hamar, in fact it was so wonderful we returned at the end of our trip for another two nights. The staff is cordial and responsive, the food is excellent, breakfast is fresh and plentiful, the room was comfortable and elegant, the views of golf course and mountains were perfect.

One of our favorite stays in Iceland. Scenic views around the hotel with a small patio. Room was a comfortable size and the included breakfast was well done.

Very nice hotel. Allowed very early check-in. Breakfast included. Bath tub which my wife loved since almost every other hotel did not have one for the 3 weeks we were traveling in Europe and Iceland.

Great view of the mountain and the golf course. Very quiet and clean. Great breakfast and excellent front desk service.
