Rodeway Inn Memphis

The entire hotel was well cared for and clean. It's right off the highway and you might expect to see trash from the cars going by but it was very well kept. Continental Breakfast was good with cereal choices, juice,coffee morning breakfast breads and a waffle iron.

It's a bit outdated but as far as a clean comfortable place to stay it was wonderful. You can tell that the family who owns this really cares for their property and guests.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Hotel was quiet yet easily accessible to the highway.

The place could use a remodel, just like my home, it's a couple decades behind. And definitely get rid of the carpets if nothing else.

Owner was very rude, tried to over charge my credit card (room was pre booked), after I confronted about my card trying to be charged more than what it was supposed to, owner said we nor anyone else we traveled with were unable to get rooms as well

I really liked the furniture and size of the room

Travelodge Memphis tx did not have running water in sink and room was poor quality I travel and spend 6 months out of a year for business and have never been this dissatisfied in staying in a motel room

I called to reserve again for a funeral. The guy told me due to my 3,5&6 yr olds leaving pop tarts on the floor we’re not allow to get a room again. So what in the world are the house keepers supposed to clean. That’s because I cleaned a lot of what they left. I figured the vacuum can pick that up. Top it off ac/heat didn’t work. I spent about $450 for 2 days/nights.(2rooms) Toilet seat had dry pee, trash shoved in the big dresser, no remote in one room nasty tissues behind the dresser. Then the remote wldnt work and he expected us to unplug the tv let it reload. Hair on the shower wall. But upset about my kids leaving food on the floor for ur house keepers to actually have something to clean. That’s what a vacuum is made to clean up. Could have been worse with holes in the walls or broken tvs, but really can’t do business with me because of some food🤦🏽‍♀️ I wish I wld have taken photos of it when I got there. Didn’t think I would have to make this review because him & his wife are so nice & I always had a place to stay when we needed to visit our family 😡😢

The sheets were laundered, but heavily stained. The vlanket and bedspread were just plain soiled.

It may be West Texas, but be warned; the room was filthy beyond anything you have seen. The bed table is full of toenail clippings and maggots. simply disgusting

I was unsuccessful in checking in early. Upon my return, lady at the front desk had an extremely difficult time navigating through the simple check in process. She seem confused and unfamiliar with the system. Not a native English speaker and was difficult to understand.
