"Overall, I would say friendly staff but subpar facilities."

The staff was friendly, and they were accommodating in regards to putting rooms close together.

The rooms were dirty when we got to them, with food left in the refrigerator that had been there for quite a while. There were cockroaches in abundance in the room.

The room is non smoking but smelled like it's been smoked in for years. I'm good with a place being outdated with cracks and wear and tear in it. But when the bedding is stained with burn marks and the shower curtain stained and torn I have a hard time with.

"Old but clean"

We had an odd sized/shaped room with 3 queen beds (very much appreciated for 3 adults at the end of a road trip). It was on the second floor back in a corner, and was quiet. It was clean, although it was old and a bit worn looking overall.

Because of the location of the room, the WiFi was barely usable inside this room, but we also weren't able to get great LTE service. The room had 2 "window" ACs (although they were actually built in to the wall). One was too noisy to sleep with it on (we don't mind some steady "white" noise, but it was erratic and constantly changing speeds even with the fan set to a constant speed). With just one AC running it couldn't cool the room down, so we had to run both until we got it down to a reasonable temperature, and then the less noisy unit could keep it comfortable.
