Great location and lovely staff

Wat een ongelofelijk mooi resort! 😍 Echt niet normaal hoe prachtig het uitzicht hier is – zowel vanaf het resort zelf als vanuit de kamer. We hebben zelden (eigenlijk nooit!) zo’n indrukwekkend uitzicht meegemaakt… echt adembenemend! 🌅✨ Tijdens ons verblijf hadden we een keer medische hulp nodig en dat was super goed geregeld. Er kwam snel een fijne en professionele dokter langs, wat ons enorm geruststelde 🙏 Het eten was heerlijk, elke dag weer genieten 🍽️ en de avondshows waren zó leuk en gezellig. Echt een extra dimensie aan de hele ervaring! 🎭✨ Alles bij elkaar was dit een geweldig verblijf op een plek met misschien wel het mooiste uitzicht dat we ooit hebben gezien. Absoluut onvergetelijk! 💯❤️

A truly beautiful place. We really liked the cottages — they are cozy and very nice. The nature around is amazing: you can hear birds singing all the time, see them flying nearby, and sometimes dik-diks even run close to the houses. The sunsets were incredible, and the pool area was also great. The place looks even better in real life than in the photos. Breakfasts and dinners were good. The lunch during the safari was quite small, though. The price might be a little high, but the place is really special and we enjoyed our stay a lot. We also loved our balcony, and the rooms were very beautiful and comfortable.

I’m sharing these points only as constructive feedback, in the hope that the service can be improved. Two weeks before our arrival, I contacted the hotel via Booking.com to ask questions about the airport transfer and other details. Unfortunately, it was very difficult to get a response. Someone emailed us the transfer prices and then stopped replying. In the end, we were only able to confirm the transfer one day before our arrival. Also, after we arrived, we booked our safari with another agency because the hotel was responding very slowly. When the driver came to pick us up, she seemed unhappy that we had chosen a different safari company, because there was an issue with some documents/permits. Since nobody informed us in advance about this requirement, we had no idea. As a result, we waited around two hours at the airport before we could leave. What was uncomfortable is that we were made to feel responsible for the situation, even though we simply booked a safari elsewhere (and it was actually twice cheaper). This incident did not ruin our stay, but I believe the communication and transfer coordination could be better organized to avoid stress for future guests. One more thing - 60$ for person for 30 min transfer is a little bit too much.

Un séjour d’exception au cœur du Serengeti — tout simplement magique ✨ Cet hôtel a été le joyau de notre voyage. Chaque détail a été pensé pour offrir une expérience parfaite : un restaurant majestueux aux saveurs raffinées et variées, une propreté irréprochable — c’est sans doute l’hôtel le plus impeccable que nous ayons connu, où tout brille de mille feux. Le personnel est d’une douceur et d’une bienveillance rares, toujours à l’écoute avec un sourire sincère, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus mémorable. On se sent transportés, choyés, comme dans un rêve éveillé au cœur de la nature sauvage. Ce lieu est un havre de paix et de luxe discret, un incontournable pour quiconque souhaite vivre le Serengeti autrement. La photo est la vue de notre terrasse au levé du soleil chambre 52 ! Une expérience inoubliable, gravée dans nos cœurs à jamais.

El hotel es muy lindo y la atención de todo su personal es fantastica, siempre dedicados a atenderte de la mejor manera. Realizamos safaris contratado en el hotel con la guía llamada Eli y fue fantástico. El hotel es muy confortable, las habitaciones agradables y decoradas con estilo del lugar; la comida tanto en el desayuno, el almuerzo y la cena tiene variedad de sabores para elegir.

La comunicación previa es muy mala . . . cuesta horrible contactarse con el hotel, el mensaje mediante booking me lo respondieron luego de haberme alojado . . . increíble. . . 5 meses después . . .!!!! Logramos comunicarnos via Instagarm para que nos pasaran un mail de contacto, que fue la unica manera de comunicación previa durante meses, para nada fluida . . . había que enviar reiteradas veces el mail para que contestaran. Sin dudas es algo en lo que la cadena de hoteles Serena debe trabajar fuertemente.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Lodge sehr genossen! Die Aussicht über die Serengeti war phänomenal. Das Personal war immer total freundlich und das Essen war auch sehr gut. Wir haben kaum etwas zu beanstanden, nur ein paar Verbesserungen zu machen.

Die Klimaanlage funktionierte bei uns nicht bzw. wir haben es nicht hinbekommen. Es war nicht so heiß im Zimmer, daher fanden wir es nicht so schlimm. Ansonsten hätten wir um Hilfe gebeten. Es hat etwas gedauert, bis wir wussten, wie man die Zimmer zuschließt. Wenn man es aber mal raushatte wie es funktioniert, war es in Ordnung.
