Nirwana Resort Hotel

We had a very nice large room and separate lounge area - large bathroom with bath and shower. Had everything we needed. Was worth paying the small extra for the bigger room. Nice little extra touches on arrival with fruit and goodies delivered during stay. We enjoyed looking around the resort - hired a buggy. Busy over weekend but not afterwards. Pool was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with plenty of choices differing each day. Restaurants plenty of choice and prices not too expensive compared to U.K./NZ.

Wet season so weather wasn’t great and meant the beach was full of rubbish from the sea - staff cleared it in front of the resort.

Not all activities are well maintained

Wir hatten das Hotel während unseres Singapur-Urlaubs für einen Kurzausflug nach Bintan ausgewählt und unsere Erwartung wurde übertroffen. Das Hotel liegt direkt an einem wunderschönen, weißen Sandstrand. Das Meer war türkisblau, klar und sauber. Am Strand gab es jedoch Warnschilder vor Quallen und Teer bei entsprechender Strömung, wovon wir aber nicht betroffen waren. Das ganze Hotel war insgesamt sehr sauber und das Personal durchweg freundlich. Unser Zimmer war groß und verfügte über ausreichend Ablagemöglichkeiten. Das angebotene Frühstück war großzügig und abwechslungsreich. Abend gab es mehrere Restaurant im Hotelbereich zur Auswahl. Für uns war das Angebot mehr als ausreichend und das Essen schmeckte sehr gut. .

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln am Hotel.

A little bit expensive

Das Resort ist sehr weitläufig und großzügig gestaltet. Die Poolanlage ist sehr schön und in wenigen Schritten ist man am schönen Strand. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und von guter Qualität. Fürs Dinner kann ich das Restaurant Spice nur empfehlen. Qualität und Preis sind sehr gut und das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Der kostenlose Shuttle ist eine Zumutung. Wir haben über eine Stunde im eiskalten Bus gewartet, bis auch der allerletzte Gast von unserer Fähre sich endlich gefunden hatte… und das ganze für 8 !!! Minuten Busfahrt. Da fragt man sich schon, warum man nicht zumindest 2x fahren kann. So sollte kein Urlaub anfangen. Die Zimmer hätten eine Renovierung notwendig. Unsere Zimmertür ließ sich nicht richtig schließen und wir mussten umziehen. Alles ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und Teile der Anlagen gleichen Lost Places.

There are lots of activities

Poor communication among staff, lack of information sharing with guests, poor hospitality, and terrible Wi-Fi. The front desk staff told me that not all rooms had refrigerators, which left me in a bind, but after looking around carefully, I found a small refrigerator in my room. How is it possible that hotel staff don’t know what amenities are in the rooms? I can’t believe it.

スタッフの対応が非常に良かった。ロケーションも素晴らしく、朝食も美味しかったです。敷地内の他のレストランも良かった。ビーチアクティブティも充実しており、小学校から高校生の子供まで大満足でした。
