Das Hotel verfügt über eine hervorragende Lage und einen hervorragenden Concierge-Service. Alle Empfehlungen des Concierge Teams waren Spitzenklasse - das gilt für die aussergewöhnlichen Restaurants ebenso wie für die Emfpehllungen für Besichtigungen, zum Einkaufen bis hin zum Friseurladen. Der Concierge-Service hebt sich im Vergleich mit anderen Hotel deutlich ab und ist ganz einfach Spitzenklasse.

Great location in a quieter area of the city. It is very close to everything, especially an easy taxi ride to Gion. One temple at the end of the block one way and another at the other end of the block and the Museum across the road. The restaurants were terrific and the bar downstairs has a great atmosphere. Service in all spaces was top notch, especially at the front reception and bell desk. So helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. We found our room to be a wonderful oasis. It was spacious, comfortable decor and very comfortable to be in. Loved the comfy bed and wooden bath. We loved everything about our stay.

We would have liked some seats to view the Maiko performance. There was only bar stands and everyone standing in a u-shaped configeration. If you didn't get there more than 15 mins before the performance you struggled to see it. I am a shorter lady and nobody was prepared to let me in front of them to see it or share their bar stand. Whilst the drinks was a nice idea, the main idea was the performance. Seats would help, especially for shorter people, less mobile people and people who can't stand for long.

Had an amazing stay here at the regency. Staff was extremely attentive and helpful and room was great, with an amazing view. Special thanks to Ms. Chihiro Nakajima for helping me with an urgent issue and Kaiko Sim for being very attentive and helpful.
