Hotel Astoria

Breakfast was actually pretty good, especially for 8.5 euros. The room was disappointing for the price. The desk was very scuffed up and looked like it had been there since the 1960s. In fact all the the furniture was old. There was even an old radio with wires sticking out of it on the wall above the bed...mattress sagged and it smelled musty. The light from the streets seeped into the room because there were no black out curtains. The sink had dirt in it that would emerge from the drain hole and it got stopped up regularly. And the toilet looked old too. The staff at check-in was nice and the location is great.

Reasonable price. Good Clean and comfortable kind staff.

This is not a chain hotel, so if you are expecting a Hilton, this is not for you. However, if you are looking for a hotel with charm, friendly people, in the middle of town with all the amenities you need, this is a wonderful place to stay. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would absolutely come back.

The staff was great, the area is great, the condition of the hotel is a little run down. The bathroom door in the first room we stayed in didn’t even close all the way and someone had smoked in one of them.

Definitely an older place. Over half the light bulbs were out or not working. Missing one of the switch covers. Decent temperature outside, so inside was fine. Some road noise to be expected.

Did not stay. It was filthy. Floors were stained. Looked like urine on the hallway walls.

Hotel is in a good location for restaurants. Hotel ok for one night
