Leonardo Royal Hotel Ibiza Santa Eulalia

Loved the swimming pool in the building we were staying in. Quiet and easily got sunbeds unlike main pool which was awful for trying to get a bed. The local area is lovely. The room size was great with lots of storage, bathroom was lovely and clean. Bed comfy and provided with cots for our 2 babies. Daughter loved the entertainment. Swimming pool perfect temperature, allow inflatables and baby pools perfect height! Shower room downstairs by reception ahead of going to airport to get ready after we had checked out of our hotel room.

Food - I am not a fussy eater but suffer with nut allergy. Absolutely nothing was labelled so had no idea what I was eating so felt on edge constantly. Pasta was hard. Not much variety. Meat super chewy. Nothing was nice flavoured. We had half board but ate out instead as really struggled to eat much. I stuck to cold meats all holiday which absolutely wouldn’t ever be my preference. The microwave in our room stunk and was filthy. It literally smelt of fish paella and rice everywhere. We have babies so needed to sterilise bottles. 3 days after no cleaning of the microwave I bumped into the cleaner and asked her via google translate to clean the microwave of which she replied telling me it is guests responsibility to clean the microwave but I told her it was already like that when we arrived and simply not good enough especially with babies. We had ants in our kitchen area. The balcony felt soo unsafe with our children. On the day before our last day, the pool area was closed until 1pm due to the chlorine being too high, we kept being told would reopen at certain times but no one until 1pm even came to check. This was half term and trying to tell children they couldn’t get in the pool was hard work especially as it was boiling hot.

The hotel was perfect - lovely rooms, good view, friendly staff and excellent location.
