Pink Shell Beach Resort and Marina

We felt so welcome. Drinks and food were great. Service and staff were impeccable.

We had a wonderful stay at the Pink shell hotel 2 rooms booked for family holiday, all good until I got home and received formal request for further payment of over 900 dollars!! After investigating they agreed that they had misallocated the payment

I recently stayed at Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The location on Fort Myers Beach is unbeatable — stunning views, soft white sand, and breathtaking sunsets right from the property. The resort itself is well-maintained with spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms, many offering ocean views. The pools are perfect for both relaxation and family fun, and the beach area is just steps away. I also loved the little extras like complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas.

Upon arriving we checked in and when we made the reservations I told them it was our 35th anniversary then when confirming the reservation the women told me we would have something special waiting. We checked in and the girl had asked if we were celebrating anything special, I told her yes we had already told the reservations specialist and we are celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. Oh congrats she said. I thought oh well something will be in the room. There was nothing nor did anything ever get said, no coupons, no drinks no nothing.. then the first night I was awoken by a loud boom every 5 minutes or so this boom continued. We finally figured it out on day 3 (after no sleep) it was the elevator. The same one we were stuck in for a few minutes twice and had a few scares of it not working while in it, that was making the noise. That is the next thing. The elevator was broken and many people were stuck in it over several days on and off. They finally took it out of service the last few days we were there. The pool was nice but we got eaten alive at the poop by sand fleas. 2 weeks later I had to see a dermatologist because the bites on my ankles were not getting better! The food was good at the pool. Drinks are over priced and they include a gratuity automatically.. I don't have a problem tipping, I even give extra when deserved over the percentage they charged but let me decide. One of our pillows had a tear in it and the first night we did not realize it and had stuffing in our faces when we woke up. It's a walk (about a mile) to Ft. Myers Beach to eat. WE don't mind walking but just a heads up if you don't have a car. If you want to go to actual Ft Myers you will need a car or uber or lyft. Would I come back no way. I travel a ton and I would not stay again. I was disappointed we stayed so long and it was blah. We would of checked out and stayed somewhere else but did not want to be charged for not staying the whole stay.

for the most part, everything was great, but I had to make an argument with the front desk on my friends room because nobody told us that parking passes were limited, and people drove in separate cars, and therefore they told us they could not hand out any more parking passes in the end they did but they charged my 20 $25 which I thought was ridiculous

They’ve come a long way since the hurricane. Resort looks great! Our room was spacious and very clean. Staff is friendly and drinks by the pool can’t be beat. We had lunch at Bongo’s one day and food was mediocre. We were traveling with our granddaughter and she loved it! It’s a very family friendly resort, if it was just my husband and I, I probably wouldn’t have chosen it because there were kids everywhere even though they do have an adults only pool. We’ll probably be back just because my granddaughter didn’t want to leave 😁.

Extra fees. Non working appliances. No housekeeping came. Loud construction work.
