We were not welcomed in a friendly manner. The receptionist barely looked up from her computer and never smiled. The radio in the background was too loud so she had to keep repeating herself. First impressions were not good but things got better. The spa facilities were not well lit and the pool was cold and the jacuzzi was unavailable.

It wasn’t as close to Bury st Edmunds as I imagined

Clean,modern, comfortable hotel with access to spa, which despite being Bank holiday weekend was not too busy, so had a very relaxing time Staff were helpful, food was good and grounds were lovely too Really liked the fact that the hot breakfast is cooked to order so it was nice and fresh as well as having a choice of other foods such as fruit toast yoghurt etc from the buffet Had a facial too which was lovely Overall a very relaxing break

We constantly had gnats in the room which was a bit annoying but I guess cannot be helped due to rural location Every time we returned to the room there were about 10 to 15 new ones if I stayed here again I would take some spray

Fantastic gym, swim and spa facilities that can be accessed prior and post check in. Staff were very warm and professional. Room and view onto the golf course was fantastic!

Would have liked a privacy blind (blind version of a net curtain) as we had to close the blind when getting ready to avoid distracting the golfers.

The facilities on offer were perfect for our weekend away

Restaurant service at breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi and were fortunate enough to find both areas quiet. Plenty of Parking and really liked the overall feel of hotel.

Areas around pool need attention as noticed cracked tiles and quite a lot of wear and tear on walls near jacuzzi. In room 202 the chair at table was broken and hairdryer was in very poor condition and difficult to use. Restaurant windows very dirty and general bar and seating areas need good sweep clean as a lot of cobwebs and debris.
