Starfsfólkið mjög hjálpsamt og liðlegt, sérstaklega ungi maðurinn sem bar upp töskurnar okkar, sem voru mjög þungar. Morgunmaturinn mjög góður, hafragrauturinn sérlega góður. Frábært, skoskt hálandahótel, vil gjarna koma aftur.

Molto apprezzata la posizione centrale dell'hotel, le sale comuni arredate in tipico stile inglese e l'ottima colazione con piatti scozzesi.

Poche informazioni ricevute dall'hotel riguardo il parcheggio. A poca distanza dall'hotel è presente un parcheggio pubblico che riporta la scritta free, ma è presente anche il parcometro con tariffa oraria e i posti auto sono delimitati da strisce bianche (in Scozia indicano i parcheggi a pagamento). Fortunatamente ha parcheggiato un residente che ci ha spiegato che il pagamento non è obbligatorio, ma rappresenta una donazione per la manutenzione delle strutture pubbliche.

Leuke oude pub met hotel erbij. Gezellige ouderwetse Schotse Sfeer. Dineren in restaurant is mogelijk.

Personeel onattent in restaurant bij diner en ontbijt. Wijn kwam pas bij hoofdgerecht en ontbijt bijna uur gewacht.

We couldn’t keep the window open and the staff just gave us a jar to hold it open with. The water pressure in the shower was very weak.
