Charming old hotel; comfortable room and inviting lounge area for drinks; good breakfast

Dinner in Ghillie's bar- this place was a disaster. Cold soup, mediocre main courses- none of the food was hot. Getting a full set of cutlery and a napkin took a lot of effort. The place was busy on a Saturday night but so disorganized. Staff were friendly and trying hard, but seemed inexperienced. We actually went to the bar to get a drink and the young woman tending the bar said she would have to go get her colleague to serve us because she wasnt old enough!
