Small, overall expensive, price for breakfast prohibitive. .

Decor of room was nice and clean.

Some staff rude and unhelpful. Room exceptionally stuffy and hot with no air-conditioning. When asking for fan we were told none available and to open windows , which didn't! Had to wait first night 10 minutes to be noticed for seating and a further 20 to be served. Only 12 people in. They then charged a service charge! For nearly £300 a night really not worth it. Hotel looked tired, staff not trained and understaffed .

Excellent séjour au Balmoral Arms. L'hôtel est idéalement situé pour découvrir le Royal Deeside, à quelques minutes de Balmoral Castle et des magnifiques paysages des Cairngorms. La chambre était confortable et calme, le personnel accueillant et professionnel, et le petit-déjeuner de très bonne qualité. J'ai également beaucoup apprécié le dîner au restaurant de l'hôtel : les spécialités locales étaient excellentes et parfaitement préparées. Une excellente base pour explorer la région. Je n'hésiterais pas à revenir lors d'un prochain voyage en Écosse.

The reality, old semi refurbished pub / hotel batting above its weight and ability. We left with no breakfast due to the long long wait… The fact we’d spent a lot for this room as it was a special occasion but we’re sadly disappointed by the hotel and our room.
