Beautiful old establishment, lovely lounges, pleasant atmosphere, warm welcome at reception. Very good food but unpleasant service. Small room with dreary decor. Tiny bathroom in poor condition. No tissues or bottled water. Dirty carpets and rugs.

Very good restaurant; comfortable and spacious room.

The pillows were quite hard - too hard for one guest. The shower could have done with a shelf.

Situation was great. I like the bar area .

Bedroom was small and stuffy . Shower wasn’t clean although rest of bedroom was. For £300( inc dog) I would have expected more . Noisy staff outside the back Window at midnight . Tbh if it was half the price it was, I would have liked it a whole let better but when y get in to charging 300 a night , a bath would have been nice, or at least a clean shower and possibly a coffee machine in the room as opposed to Nescafé sachets

Bed was comfy. Location was great. Bar was nice.

The hotel did not reflect the high price paid. Hair in sink, dirty plates and cutlery at self serve breakfast. Arguments in kitchen audible in dining room.

La chambre très petite, au décor triste. Salle de bains minuscule, assis sur la toilette on a la tête sur le lavabo ! Le flexible de douche a été retiré, il ne restait que la douche pluie, pas de bonnet de douche fourni. Pas de kleenex ni de bouteille d'eau. À 200 GBP la nuit... Moquette de la chambre sale, tapis du restaurant aussi Serveurs en salle désagréables

Optisch hübsch, aber bei näherer Betrachtung absolut überteuert. Das Essen war gut und das Personal sehr nett.

Die Matratzen waren durchgelegen mit einer schönen Kuhle. Der Geruch in den Zimmern war muffig und schimmelig. Man konnte die Fenster auch nur einen Spalt öffnen. Sowohl im Zimmer als auch im Restaurant fiel das Atmen schwer, weil auch Tiere erlaubt sind und sich natürlich alles in den Teppichen festsetzt. Leider habe ich das bei der Reservierung nicht gesehen. Es war sehr hellhörig vom Gang ins Zimmer. Für einen Allergiker ist die Unterkunft absolut nicht geeignet. Zum Glück waren wir nur eine Nacht dort, also haben wir es ausgehalten. Die Aussicht war zum Hinterhof auf Mülltonnen, Wäscheleinen und Baugerüste. Das Wasser im Waschbecken ist nicht gut abgelaufen. Alles in allem für den teuren Preis nicht annähernd ok.
