Absolutely dream of a destination! Gorgeous big room, the Junior Suite, with anything you could ever wish for! The location is brilliant and easy distance from other restaurants, pubs and lovely walks.

Location was good. Styled well. Room was quiet. One lady at breakfast and on reception was especially lovely and friendly. Shower was very good with lovely toiletries.

Room and bathroom were very small (ours was a 'cosy' double). Could have done with a few basics like tissues. Felt it was expensive. And for that price point I'd expect nicer bread at breakfast than basic sliced, for example

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. I have both gluten and lactose intolerance, and I made this clear to the staff several times throughout my visit. Despite this, I was served a dessert containing cheese, milk, and crumble – all ingredients that clearly contain dairy and gluten. This demonstrated a concerning lack of understanding of food intolerances. To make matters worse, I ordered a meal that was advertised on the menu as gluten-free and dairy-free. However, when I ordered it, the staff informed me that most of the ingredients were not actually suitable and removed nearly everything from the dish. I was left with a meal that was roughly one-third of what was advertised, yet I was still charged full price. The menu information appears to be inaccurate and potentially misleading. This is not simply an inconvenience – for people with allergies or intolerances, incorrect information can have serious health consequences. I was also disappointed by the attitude of some staff members. When I questioned whether the food provided was genuinely gluten- and dairy-free, it was clear that my concerns were not welcomed. At one point, staff were openly discussing the situation amongst themselves, which felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. Overall, the service, food knowledge, and customer care fell well below expectations. I will not be returning. I strongly encourage the restaurant to review its menu descriptions, provide proper allergen training to staff, and ensure accurate information is given to customers. This is a food safety issue and should be taken seriously.
