Coral Strand Smart Choice Hotel

The room was clean, the breakfast buffet was great, and the hotel’s beachfront location couldn’t have been better. The staff even came around with cooling towels to give to guests on the beach. The only small downside was some renovation noise near the lobby and pool, but overall I was very happy with my stay. I also had dinner on the property; although the staff were quite busy and meals came out at different times, they stayed attentive and checked in regularly to make sure everything was okay. We had the most wonderful stay at the coral strand! I stayed for a week with my husband and parents to celebrate my mums 70th birthday. The rooms are lovely. Modern, clean and well equipped. House keeping keeps the rooms spotless. They also have lovely views of either the ocean on one side or the mountains on the other. (Me and my husband had a Mountain View room and loved watching the giant fruits bats in the evenings). It is great value for money. The Coral strand is in a perfect spot. Right on the beach with the azure ocean only a few steps away. The beach has the most wonderful swimming and snorkeling opportunities. The hotel itself has great restaurants but it is also just a short stroll away from many other great places to eat, drink and activity outfitters. As an added bonus the staff were wonderful! We’d like to give a special shout out to guest liaison, Shahin and housekeeper Krishner. They organised a beautiful room set up for my mums birthday celebrations and it was a wonderful start to her holiday. Shihan was always extremely professional, attentive and friendly, making us feel extremely valued and cared for. We had such a wonderful time at the Coral strand and can’t wait to be back!

This is a story about a hotel or management GREED get a hotel located beautifully….but terrible place to stay. If you plan to come here and relax….you are wrong. The hotel management let people who don’t stay at the hotel come to pool restaurant and use the pool all day. The only thing they have to do is to buy a pizza and have a lot of noisy kids destroy your relaxing day at the pool. 2 adults person with 7/8 kids each were entire day in the pool and extremely loud. It became literally like kindergarten…They needed only to buy few pizzas and drinks to use the pool. It didn’t matter for the hotel management that we paid very high price for our stay… but we were forced to leave the pool area because of all loud noise. I saw multiple hotel guests who were staying at the hotel leaving the pool area. This is how greed for extra income makes a hotel look terrible !!!

An excellent oceanfront hotel. We stayed for seven nights and loved everything. I'd like to express special thanks to a hotel employee named Shah. He helped us resolve a situation with unscrupulous people offering excursion booking services and was always available to answer any questions we had. For future vacationers, please be aware that you shouldn't trust people offering excursions on the street along the beach.

In general, everything is organized at the highest level, starting from the moment of arrival and ending with departure. The numbers are beyond praise. Spacious, bright, with modern design and comfortable furniture. I was especially pleased with the daily cleaning - there was always a feeling of freshness and comfort. No complaints! I want to express my gratitude to the hotel employee, Shah. There was a small overlay with the booking of the excursion, and Shah did not remain indifferent. He quickly joined the solution of the problem, showed sincere care and professionalism. Thanks to his participation, everything was settled in the best way.
