"Expensive but it's Queenstown!"

We had the lakeside room and the view was really beautiful, stunning! The location was fine, l got the impression that everyone hires a car in Queenstown so it was fine for people driving. The front staff managers were really nice and helpful.

We were there for 6 days and midway we asked for our linen to be changed, this wasn't done. Bins, not emptied, glasses not cleaned etc so that was a bit annoying. They also charge $15 a night for parking in an unsecured car park which is essentially just outside which l think is ridiculous. The parking should be free!

"I would love to stay at Mercure Queenstown Resort again, but in another room, and with another view."

The room was with a garden view ( actually pool view ), so it was great. The room was also quite big, I believe was supposed to have been for triple sharing but the other bed was removed, this having more space in the room.

The only downside is…the wall of the room was the wall of the elevator which is used at night time. It becomes noisy ( squeaking ) with some vibration in our room everytime someone uses the elevator.

Only small thing was tried to watch a movie one night but very limited tv channels no sky or netflix etc
