SOL by Meliá Nessebar Bay All Inclusive

Friendly staff, clean rooms, beautiful views, tasty various food, entertainment, beach, pools, beautiful territory, aquapark- everything was great! Best hotel in Bulgaria to spend your vacation!!!

Everything was perfect!

Just got back home after a wonderful week at Sol Nessebar Bay! It is a large resort, comprising 3 hotels, two 4 stars (Bay and Mare) and one 5 stars (Palace). We chose the Bay, to be more quiet and with easier access to the beach. We loved everything: 1) large and comfortable room, cleaned every day, big thank you to the cleaning ladies who were working really hard all day; 2) excellent food, lots of options for all tastes; besides the main restaurant, there are other smaller spots all over the resort where you could grab a bite (burger bar, fish & chips corner, German specific, icecream corner, pizza corner, donuts corner, fruit, panini corner etc.); drinks - self service for juice, water, beer, wine, coffee, lots of cocktail options at the bars; also tried the a la carte restaurants - Chinese and Italian, both very good, we had fun at the Chinese where we got to cook our own soup, really nice family experience 😄; 3) great pool and very nice, clean beach with quiet sea, excellent for kids (it is in a bay) and natural shade - we chose the beach chairs under the pines, as we cannot stand the heat too much, but there are plenty of chairs in the sun at terraces right above the beach or at the pool (one note to whom it may concern: only the 5 stars Palace guests have access to chairs directly on the beach; also, only the Palace has music by the pool). 4) absolutely amazing animation team, lots of activities for adults, teens and kids throughout the day and really great shows in the evenings, we were active all day and never once got bored; 5) nice aquapark in front of the Mare hotel and really cool rocky river leaving from the Bay and sliding down towards the beach through the pine trees (too bad it is only for kids, I would have loved to try it 😊). All in all, we had a great vacation, thank you very much Sol Nessebar Bay!!!!

This is a family oriented resort, so expect lots of kids everywhere 😊 Might get loud and hectic at peak times at the main restaurant, but this could be avoided by having breakfast earlier or dinner a bit later (mini disco for kids starts at 20.30, so this is when one can enjoy a quiet dinner).

The staff, the variety of food, the beach and the water parks, the pools, the size of the rooms.

The alcoholic beverages! The beer was mostly sparkling water, the wine was a mixture of bad wine and water, the hard liquor was poor quality!

Good entertainment for the kids they were enjoying the time there.

Food is terrible, didn't eat nothing for the entire week. The smell in the restaurants was disgusting 🤢

The rooms were nice, quiet, large porch and bathroom (bath + shower) and good setup for a family with internal separate room. The food was very good and generous, including outdoor stands during the day. The pools and water slides were great and the shows at night were fun for kids. The outdoor inflatable track in the sea was lots of fun.

The coffee is bad :( The hours of the water slides are too limited, closing for an hour 12:30-13:30 and then closing for the day at 16:30 which is very early. Evening activities besides the shows cost extra money. The beach is nice but it is covered with seaweed which makes it a bit unpleasant.

You just cannot get hungry! There is food somewhere all the time. It is delicious. The coffee bar on each floor. The room is spacious. The atmosphere/ambiance. It is a huge resort with lots of opportunities.

Nothing at all. The sea is not that attractive, but after all, it is the Black Sea and you should not expect much.
