"Cleanliness was ok, breakfast was poor and overall we didn’t feel we got value for money"

We liked the cleanliness of the room, the location and how easy the location was for us to get to. We also like that it was next to a service area so had shops and places to get a decent coffee.

The member of staff on reception when we arrived was very blunt and did not make us feel welcome. The quality of the breakfast was poor and it was just thrown on the plate. The additional cost for the breakfast wasn’t expensive but even then it wasn’t worth the extra. We also didn’t appreciate the extra £5 charge for parking which we were not aware of until we arrived. Left feeling a bit disappointed.

Recomend you book taxis in advance they are very busy and there is none on site at gretna train station apart from that fantastic stay 👍

Availability and price, receptionist was very helpful with my enquiries.

I have to sleep with a Cpap machine for sleep apnea, there are no power sockets next to the bed to plug into to power it i had to buy an extension to power the unit.

Rooms clean. Staff on desk pleasant and efficient.

Did not like that had to go into the service station to buy breakfast rather than on Days Inn premises, some distance particularly if weather is inclement. THIS SHOULD BE MADE CLEAR AT BOOKING STAGE. Refreshments in lobby were ridiculously expensive.

"Good value, would stay again"

Slept like a baby - quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Lots of space in room and very clean,

£5 to park, automatically added after you book. It is mentioned in the booking.com text if you click on the relevant Q&A question but easy to miss before you book - should be stated in the main property highlight section.

"Comfortable"

The breakfast was good

Would have liked abetter choice for our evening meal, comfort. A walk in shower for the disabled room. Elderly mother was unable to climb into bath for shower
