It is a very quaint inn. Very walkable and the beds were super comfy

Good location, close walking distance to festival.

Room could've been cleaner. Direct Key app did not work, had to run to get physical key from your other hotel.

The ice machine needs to be fixed.

I arrived October 22, 2025 paid for by my travelling hosts Mr and Mrs Ira Gaffin who also were responsible for paying the bill and whose name it was booked in. We were in two rooms in the guest house. The reason for my low opinion of this place was the attitude of One of the front desk staff. while I can highly recommend Jared, I cannot say the same for her, but I’m not sure if I am allowed to mention names. We let ourselves into our room after a warm reception at check-in when we were handed our keys on arrival. However, when we entered our rooms, they were freezing cold and there was no way of adjusting the temperature or changing it in any way. Added to this problem are water system had a bad odour and there was a notice in the bathrooms addressing this apologising for it even though the reason for it was a hurricane a year ago! Added to this my hosts get Room which was a large suite and meant to be an upscale experience had absolutely no water coming out of the shower. The worst problem of these however was that we were treated in an extremely aggressive rude manner by not only the front desk person but her manager also who actually told us to leave immediately even though we were checking out 24 hours early and explaining that we were leaving early because of the fact that we had been freezing cold for two nights and did not wish to say our third night in that manner. we were told that we could have a blanket but that did not address being freezing cold going into the bathroom. I have never written a negative survey before and have written many reviews over the years through my bookings with Expedia. My name is Catherine Foyle and that can verify my standards of behaviour with reviewing places. I feel very uncomfortable about the fact that my house paid for three nights for this room and although we made our complaints Claire and politely put were told on the no circumstances would they release the third night as they required that we would’ve given them seven days notice! How on earth could we give seven days notice when we did not know the water would not work, that the tap in the sink would smell of odour, and that we had no control over the heating cooling system which made for a very chilly all round experience. The beds were uncomfortable and itchy and although the town itself was exemplary, we cannot say the same about coombs guest Inn.

Easy check-in on arrival! Jared was welcoming and provided explanations for our multiple questions! Provided references on local restaurants and points of interest! Will return!

No manager on site to help. No ice available. 3 people who were together were in 3 separate buildings.

No staff on property. Digital key app impossible. Peeling paint, dirty window, weeds taking over. My room was tiny and not comfortable. Snower drain sluggish. General air of neglect. Would not recommend. Was expecting way better for the price.
