Angel's Share Hotel

Great location. Lovely bar area and breakfast. What let’s this hotel down is the cleanliness, glasses in room were dirty and the furniture is tired.

We had an after dinner cocktail at Angels Share and Laura was fabulous! We tried a flight of whiskey, a whiskey sour, and a beer! Great bar! We hung out for a few drinks and chatted with Laura! It’s our first time in Edinburgh and we love the city! We are from NYC

We finally made it to Angels Share for a belated Mother’s Day Sunday roast and it did not disappoint! The roast to share was plentiful and well cooked, we even struggled to finish it all there was so much. A shout out to the venue and staff for supporting us rescheduling our visit due to unforeseen circumstances and great service on the day, we’ll definitely be back!

Rainbow trout was very tasty and the onion soup with haggis a real treat. Sam, our server, did a great job. Well paced meal and drinks were awesome. Friendly atmosphere with locals and tourists interacting. Green beans, mushrooms and salad was well prepared. Drinks were reasonably priced.

We were at a party in the downstairs bar with friends. The staff were all really nice and friendly, and Laura made us some really good espresso martinis, even making sure mine wasn't too sweet. Would definitely go again and try some other cocktails.

Good atmosphere and food Nathan was helpful with menu choices, loved the decoration with B&W photos of notable Scots. Menu is limited but contained good fish and veggie / vegan options. All in all a very good evening at the Angel and Share pub.

The staff and service was Brillant. The 200 character reference required is then only negitive that angels share has provided. Is the 200 character review is a pain. It deterres from leaving reviews. Laura and Anna have provided a great service over a 3 hour period. Kind regards Gordon

Last night, we had a wonderful meal at Angel's Share. Angel's Share is a cozy restaurant that I would definitely recommend. The food was great, and the live music created the perfect atmosphere. We were assisted by Kayla, and she did an excellent job. She was polite, welcoming, and also took the time and attention to make our dinner just the way we wanted. Compliments!

This is the second time I've stayed. The rooms are immaculate. This time I got a single room as I was on my own but really the bed is big enough for two. A dinky wee room but plenty space for your things and fine for an overnight stay. 20% off meal if you're a guest and it was the most delicious food I've tasted in a long time. Presented well. I had a mocktail which was really special as it was prepared with care. Some mocktails are just overpriced syrupy drinks but this wasn't. Very well thought out. Staff are attentive and friendly. Really good at explaining things. Definitely one of my favourite places to stay in Edinburgh. The decor is decadent. All very clean and welcoming. Room has all ye need in it. Very close to the main attractions and tram bus and train links.
