Freundlicher Empfang, man wird erstmal gebeten sich zu setzen, während die Ausweise kopierte werden. In der Zwischenzeit wird man gebeten die Anmeldedaten zu überprüfen, welche man bei der Buchung angeben hat. Wir hatten das Glück ein Upgrade auf eines der hinten Deluxe Doppelzimmer zu bekommen, welche sich etwas im Hintern Teil der Anlage befinden. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle nochmals dafür 🙏. Das Gepäck wird auf das Zimmer gebracht. Gerade bei den Zimmern weiter hinten, ist das ein super Service, da es viele Stufen auf dem Weg gibt. Das Zimmer war wirklich überaus geräumig (siehe Fotos). Auch das Badezimmer bot sehr viel Platz. Alles war zeitgemäß ausgestattet und machte einen guten Gesamteindruck. Wir hatten vor dem Zimmer eine Art kleine Terrasse, mit zwei Stühlen und einem Tisch. Alles war sauber und die Betten waren für uns ebenfalls sehr bequem. Die Poolanlage bot bedingt Platz für alle Gäste. Es befinden sich liegen direkt am Pool mit Sonnenschirmen. Der Pool an sich fällt auch relativ groß aus, wenn auch mit 1,20m nicht wirklich Tief. Bei den Treppen sind die Duschen und auch die Poolbar ist dort zu finden. Handtücher für Pool und Strand befinden sich auf den Zimmer und werden täglich gewechselt (wenn gewünscht). Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich, jeder sollte auf seine Kosten kommen. Für Asien üblich, findet man Reis/Nudel und Curry Gerichte beim Frühstück (sehr gut und lecker). Der Kaffee ist für mich erwähnenswert. Nach zwei Wochen Asien, mit schlechtem Filter und Nespresso Kaffee, war der Kaffeevollautomat eine Highlight. Auf Anfragen, oder ggf. Reklamationen wird umgehend und freundlich reagiert. Das gesamte Personal war überaus freundlich.

OK, das ist wirklich sehr subjektiv und absolut nur unsere Ansicht. Das Badezimmer wird durch zwei große Schiebetüren, welche aus geriffelten Glas sind vom "Wohnbereich" abgetrennt. Grundsätzlich sieht es nett aus, aber unserer Ansicht absolut unpraktisch. Zum einen kann man trotz der Riffelung im Glas sehr gut erahnen, was der andere im Bad macht, zum anderen wird man beim Schlafen gestört, wenn jemand mitten in der Nacht das Licht im Bad an schaltet. Ja, es ist ein Trend in vielen Hotels, daher ist dies eine Kritik auf sehr hohem Niveau und nicht einmal direkt an dieses Haus gerichtet. Nichtsdestotrotz ist es ein Punkt, welcher zu erwähnen ist. WLAN Abdeckung ist gut, hier und da gibt es Stellen, wo die Verbindung öfter abbricht und das Signal nicht all zu stark ist (Pool - an der Straßenseite). Am Pool fehlen leider einige Sonnenschirme, oder sind defekt. Das wurde uns nach Rücksprache mit der Rezeption als bekannt bestätigt und man würde sich darum kümmern diese zu ersetzen.

A lot of the rooms require a lengthy up hill walk. Be mindful when booking if you have mobility issues.

Very nice room and ideal location in Ao Nang, we were really impressed with the eco friendly feel with being immersed in a jungle paradise, the staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, they had loads of activities and options available to guests although we did not do these as we jam packed our days outside of the resort. Fresh bottled water each day was also a nice touch, thank you. I love that if you took a liking to any item in the room that it was available to purchase, very neat idea.

Would’ve been nice to be able to fully shut the blinds down to the bottom on the balcony. We didn’t make use of the clearly wonderful facilities available to us. Very impressed

I was hesitant to book this hotel due to some poor reviews. We booked 2 premier rooms at the front of the hotel, asking for a quieter position. Our room (1538) was larger than the others and the only noise was from the live music at Gaia bar in the evening which was not at all offensive. Very quiet at night.Big choice at breakfast, friendly staff and beautiful calm and relaxing pool area. Lovely pool bar staff Boy and Far. The hotel has a feeling of being away from the madness of the town which was really welcomed. My only criticism is that the hotel is looking tired around the edges and could be so much more. Despite other reviews, our room was cleaned everyday and promptly but the external areas need updating and cleaning eg stairwells and external windows and doors. It is evident that there have been some huge improvements eg the restaurant area but the other areas would give a better initial and lasting impression. I hope Pakasai follows this up at some point as this could be a truly lovely hotel

Such a lovely hotel. The rooms are lovely and well thought out. Huge balcony to relax on, very comfy bed! Bathroom was not dated at all and great shower. The location couldn’t be better. Like a tranquil oasis in the midst of busy Ao Nang. Only negative is that breakfast could stay on for longer. We will 100% visit this hotel again.

Great quiet location amongst the hustle and bustle which is now Krabi.
