Colour Hotel

This is a nice, clean, safe and comfortable hotel. It is well situated for travel by rail. There is also good eating close by. Convenience stores are available and open late for supplies. The staff is friendly and courteous, with a fairly good command of English. The WiFi was a little spotty in the room but worked well in the Lobby. Because I visit for longer than usual periods, I appreciate being given a rear room so that the tram noise is not a concern. After a lengthy stay, the bed does become a little hard, but is otherwise quite comfortable. As a single traveler I find that the hotel comfortably meets my needs and I would recommend it to others in similar circumstances.

very small rooms, not a single shelf or cabinet in the entire room, no AC, hot water supply is non existent in the morning hours around 7 to 8:30. WIFI spotty at best. Very expensive during the trade show. Paid over Euro 220 per night for a hotel that should cost Euro 50 at best. Made reservation through Travelocity. Hotel canceled my reservation without notifying me because my credit card expiration date was before my arrival date. Re-booked through Travelocity the next day which cost me an extra Euro 460 for two rooms. The hotel management was unwilling to honor the original price. First and last time staying at that hotel.

One of the front desk worker has no smile. If she smile a little bit will be better.

Cheap and close to the main train station. The neighborhood is not to much beautiful and looks like bot safe, but for the price is Ok. Room was really very small and the elevator was very close to my room and it sounds very old.

Very small spaces. And is showing signs of wear and tear. A bit expemsive for the size and comfort. It is right across the street from the main train station of Frankfort so you can get anywhere easily but I wouldn't suggest staying here for any long period of time and not if you you are traveling with someone... Especially if you want separate beds because I do not believe that they have any. It kinda feels like a prison that has been redone by some college kids.

Very convenient overnight in Frankfurt

Strategic location near all the major transport and dining establishment. Good size room and bathroom. Clean with basic amenities. One complaint is that the hallway on my floor was not lit on both nights that stayed there so it was difficult to find my room and to open the door. Plus, for a single female traveler arriving after midnight, it was a bit scary.

If you are looking for a cheap place to crash, as I was, then this is perfect for you. It's very basic with the room having only a bed, a desk and a sink. There are only 3 shared bathrooms (1 each on the odd numbered floors) and they are only the size of a ensuite bathroom in a normal hotel. Not a big deal when it wasn't that busy but could be annoying. I'm an early riser and it didn't bother me. The location near Frankfurt's central station (Hauptbahnhof) is fantastic. It is a little noisy with trams (streetcars) regularly making a turn out the front of the hotel but with the window closed it wasn't bad at all. My only real criticism is that 16 euros for breakfast (optional) is way too expensive

When I booked I saw that they said "shared toilets and showers", but, actually, they had just ONE room with a single toilet and a single shower for 1st, 2nd and (let's say) mid of 3rd floor, plus another in 5th floor... 2 showers for 5 floors!! That's not enough at all, I've been in cheaper hostels with those shared elements by far much better.
