Hyatt House Fishkill-Poughkeepsie

We arrived late and were looking forward to a quick night's sleep, but the lack of cleanliness in Room 406 was a major letdown. ​After getting into our pajamas, we did a quick walkthrough of the room and were shocked to find an old, dirty black T-shirt left behind the nightstand by a previous guest. To make matters worse, there was a visible stain on the mirror and a sticky substance covering the room phone. ​While we alerted the front desk immediately, we were simply too exhausted to pack up and move to a different room at that hour. It’s clear that the housekeeping was not thorough before our arrival. Between the leftover laundry and the grime on the surfaces, we felt very uncomfortable and likely won't be returning to this location.

The hotel was beautiful. The rooms were outstanding. All in our group were very happy with the accommodations, complimentary breakfast and overall atmosphere.

Lots of parking all around the hotel with entrances on all 4 sides made it convenient for bringing luggage in. Very friendly staff.

We stayed in a trio room (2 bedrooms, 3 queen beds, living room). There was ample room. It was clean and pretty quiet. We didn't use the kitchen to cook meals, but everything seemed to work. Overall it was a great experience!

Loved this hotel. Very clean and all staff was kind and hospitable. The location was very convenient with shopping and restaurants within walking distance. And price per night reasonable. Will definitely be coming back to stay!

Rooms/suites are the best in comfort. Breakfast very good, too. Reservation process by phone was easy, even with some changes in the original plan.
