JAZ Lamaya Resort

We stayed at Jaz Lamaya as two friends with our four children aged 7–11 and had a wonderful holiday. The location is perfect – very close to the airport, and the bay is calm and windless (maybe we were just lucky). The beach is sandy, which is ideal for kids. We didn’t even need water shoes, which was a big plus, especially for the children. We also went snorkeling and could see the coral reef from the jetty. It is good to know that swimming from the beach is possible at Jaz Solaya, which is just a short and pleasant walk away. Despite that, we liked Jaz Lamaya even more, mainly because of the larger children’s pool and the fantastic kids’ food corner (waffles, pancakes, pizza, popcorn, and ice cream). On the first day we had a small issue with our rooms because we wanted to stay next to each other so the children – and we – could easily visit one another. This was solved the next day, and the rooms were excellent – spacious, very clean, with comfortable beds. Next time we will inform the reception about our preferences in advance. The gardens and the pool area are beautiful and well maintained. The food was outstanding. Despite the ongoing renovation, the restaurant terrace was lovely and calm, and the comfort was not affected at all. The staff in the restaurant, bars, and on the beach were amazing – very friendly and highly professional. Housekeeping was absolutely perfect. The only thing I would suggest is installing self-service drink stations for water and juices in the main restaurant, as waiting for service can be inconvenient, especially when you have four children. For us, this hotel was the perfect choice and we will definitely return next year.

A short transfer from the airport, spacious rooms, and excellent, varied food. Every day there were several Egyptian dishes, fish, chicken, beef, soups, vegetables, salads, and pizza, all clearly labeled in English, German, and Polish. The food was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Snacks like pizza, burgers, and hot dogs were also available on the beach and in the Aquapark. Out of three pools, two are heated in winter, and the Aquapark (free for hotel guests) with heated pools as well. The hotel grounds are full of greenery—well kept lawns and flowers. Everything is clean, including the poolside restrooms. The hotel staff are very kind and friendly; they truly create the atmosphere of this place. Overall, the hotel feels “just right” — some activities, but not a party place. The vibe is calm and relaxing.

Nice experince at this hotel for the 2nd time. We found everything as a family hotel with many options to do during our vacation as enjoyed with nice staff and good cleaning conditions and never forget the reception team who leading us for all facalaties thank you
