Refrigerator door wouldn’t stay shut. Carpets were dirty. Main lobby smelled like marijuana in the afternoon The overall cleanliness could be increased substantially!

This property was dirty, trash laying around, carpet was sticky. Dust on furniture, 2 spiders were in the bath tub. Rooms in poor maintenence

The location was good, very close to many restaurants and gas stations. They were also putting new furniture in and it looked better than the old stuff.

The price was not what I was told I'd pay. Ended up being almost $70 more than when I booked the rooms online.

Do NOT stay here! Hotel old and out of date. No elevator to the second floor. Breakfast disappointing! They fraudulently overcharged me $176 and accused me of wetting the bed!

Disgusting!! I have pictures!!!!!! Dirty. Not clean!!! Old and hardly anything worked!!°° only 1 outlet that would supply power to my c-pap!!!!°

Outlets didn't work. Furniture broken. Microwave melted. Bathroom not functional. Reported issues to manager/owner and he didn't seem to care. Check in process was horrible as you had to dial 0 on a phone and wait for someone to come to the front desk.

I made a reservation here on Jan28th for two rooms for a group of bicycle riders participating in RAGBRAI. The ride is passing through Tama-Toledo on July 28th and this was as close as I could find. I made this reservation as soon as the route was announced and was lucky to get this close to the overnight town. On Feb 6th the hotel cancelled my reservations (as well as many other people who made their reservations there. I called the property 3 times about this situation. Three times I was told that the manager would call me back. Three times I never received that call. The only time I got any feedback from the manager was after I contacted Wyndham directly. Even then all I got was that they were already contracted with a "cornfield company". Which begs the question that if they were already contracted how was I (and many others) able to make a reservation? Wyndham itself was of no help except to send me emails that said they would "contact me within a week regarding my concern." That was Feb 27th. They still haven't made that contact. I understand that they kicked a bunch of people out because they could charge more for the room. I also understand that if I reserve a room and don't show up they will charge me for that room, after all they are mostly selling time and they can't get that time back, unused and unpaid for reservation is a costly waste for them. So now, I have to spend more time finding a new place, I have to travel much farther to find adequate rooms, and I have to spend more for those rooms. You would think that they would offer some kind of compensation for the time and effort that they caused to be wasted or even an apology. Didn't happen.
