Charles, Mary, Gabe and Parker created a genuinely great experience at the bar. From the moment we arrived they were attentive, friendly and very natural at making everyone feel comfortable. Their service was consistent, the drinks were prepared with care and they always had the right timing to check on us without interrupting the conversation. Each one of them brought their own personality to the experience, which made the night feel relaxed and enjoyable. It is clear they take pride in what they do, and it showed in every interaction. I would gladly return thanks to the atmosphere they created and the way they treated us.

"The Reserve Bar at The Highland Curio"

The Highland Curio is our favorite place to stay when visiting our son at SMU. The bar staff at The Reserve restaurant and bar goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. Charles, Mary, Gabe, and Parker are a winning team!

"Great early dinner"

We called in the grandparents and had an awesome Sunday night out with our friends. All of our cocktails, appetizers, and meals were excellent. My pork chop was fantastic and I actually enjoyed it more than Perry’s which I never thought I’d say. The service was also great. A nice vibe, which could have been a bit better if there were more people, but it was pretty early. Strong recommend.

"The luxury getaway in the heart of it all!"

What an amazing weekend! My suite was absolute heaven. It was so well-designed and well-appointed. And the staff was terrific! The restaurant blew me away from the food to the staff. And the location cannot be beat. The Highland feels like a retreat, I don't know anyone who wouldn't benefit from a break from the real world!
