The bed was comfortable and the bad smell through the entire hotel did not extent to my bedroom at least

Unclean in corridors. The most run down hotel I have been inside in a decade. Looks like a 2-3 star hotel in everywhere but the actual room, the corridors have old smelly mildew carpet and paint falling off everywhere. It felt like it needed refurbished 20 years ago. It is not even close to 4 stars and is an embarrassment of Novotel establishment and ruins their name. This is the last time I will book a novotel anywhere now, as the name clearly means nothing
