AQUA Hotel Aquamarina & Spa

Great coastal hotel with exceptional views! The breakfast buffet was awesome and filled with lots delicious foods from around the world. A+ Location, right off of the main shopping strip. Stop by the bar to see Gemma, she makes the BEST Expresso Martini’s :)

Stayed here recently half board for a week. Hotel is spotless, and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. Food was buffet style, and was fine, with loads of fresh stuff, but to be honest, became repetitive after a few days. Entertainment again was fine, with plenty for kids to do. Bar area nice, and drinks reasonably priced. We booked suite Lumiere which was kind of better room, with lovely views. Layout wasn't great, as WC in different room from bath/shower area, and you had to go from one to the other to wash hands after loo visit. No door either into shower area, so a real lack of privacy at times. TV channels good, as was WiFi. Lovely fittings as well, with Safe and fridge. No kettle in room, which I thought was poor, and was quoted €15 to borrow an iron for 3 hours, which was ridiculous I thought. Same with being charged for a bottle of water at dinner. Just a big shout-out to two reception staff who went the extra mile. On arrival, we left bag on bus, and lady helped us retrieve it, and on final morning, after storm, road was flooded so gentleman arranged a new pickup point for transfer. Overall, I'd recommend, but could improve in one or two areas.

Great Hotel. My son is disabled, and in a wheelchair. The family of 8 was on a well needed holiday It was for 10 days. The staff, reception and the cleaners couldn't do enough. Our room was cleaned every day and fresh towels every day. The lifeguard took extra notice of us and was always there to help me or the other members of our family to lift him out and get him back into his chair.. We as half board, so Breakfast and tea( dinner). The food was good. My daughter and her partners family was amazed with how much fresh fish and shellfish they served.. alot was repetitive, but always cooked fresh and hot... The maitre d was amazing.. and the waitresses. They were organised and made sure that everyone was happy.. They had alot of obstinate, rude and just not very nice people to contend with, but they ALWAYS stayed professional.. I take my hat off to them. This is the 4th time I have been here in the past 10yrs... The main boss, the lifeguard and the maitre d have been here all this time.. What a great time we had... THANK-YOU. Outdated room. One socket for entire room designed for 4 people. No room upgrade was given despite being advertised. Leaking toilet. Check out at 10am.

price per night was good, because this is not a 4 star, but likely a 3. Family room with 2 beds felt very small in size, beds were comfortable. Strong effort at night for entertainment. Room was very noisy as you could hear absolutely everything from corridor. Staff was in general very helpful. Restaurant and breakfast were average, lots of choice in a buffet, but general feeling was to present lowest cost items in particular meats. Had to pay 5 euros per person each day to access the small gym a bit old...that's a no no in my book for an hotel who wants to be a 4 star. had to pay 10 euros per person to access spa and swimming pool (that was good and I understand that cost...). drinks at bar were 4 star cost except beers which were cheaper. beautiful swimming pool outside cold in October, to be expected.

I selected the hotel due to the facilities. Pool and games room. I have an 8 year old. The indoor pool was additional cost, ok, but then I couldn’t book. It was full! The games room was closed. Very frustrating

Second time at this hotel and it was as good as the first time. Getting a sunbed is easy enough and the entertainment is good. It is a busy hotel so you can queue at mealtimes. The on site restaurant is good for lunches and the market outside on a Tuesday is good. Not far to walk to many bars, restaurants, shops, the beach and the train station if you fancy a trip away. I will be back.

We stayed at this hotel and could not fault it at all. We stayed half board and would say there was plenty of choice of food. Something for everyone. The salad options was amazing. Lots of fresh fruit and a great choice of hot and cold food. The activities team work really hard to entertain everyone as there is so many different nationalist, we wasn't expecting entertainment so was a bonus. The rooms was exceptionally clean, and comfortable the beds was a bit hard but still got a good nights sleep. The Staff are very friendly and helpful. The amenities of the spa was great one of the best we have stayed at. The hot salt water pool was lush and helped with all the aches and pains. Highly recommend the 10 Euros charge it is worth it. The hotel is in a great location for everything including shopping, weekly market and supermarkets. The old town has a lot bars restaurant's too.

Hard beds in room 1147 very noisy from hotel florid, never had hotel in Spain have two prices for spirits small or large??? Would not stay there again. Early morning call didn't get after asking for one. Pool area was nice. Plenty sun beds, found had to wait for drinks in entertainment area.

Had an overall very good experience at this hotel. We could enjoy our vacation without any hassle or issues. The location is quite nice and clean - this includes the hotel, its premises and the places around it, like the streets, beach, etc. The food was tasty, varied and plenty, always being refilled so you could have a taste from everything no matter the amount of people in the restaurant, or the time you are taking your meal. The breakfast could be improved a bit by focusing on more than just English style breakfast and pastries. For breakfast you can get orange juice, tea/coffee, but it would also be appreciated if (at least) water would be provided/included with the other meals. We did not experience long queueing when entering the restaurant, but we did see people standing in long queues, so certain time slots are more popular for eating and thus this can affect your experience. Since we had to leave early on our last day, we could not take the normal breakfast and instead were provided with the option to go in for an early (cold) breakfast. This one was slightly disappointing as there was barely anything to choose from. It would have been nice if we could have swapped this meal for a lunch on the previous day (at some extra cost of course), but that was not an option when we asked about it. Swimming pool was enjoyable as well, but I can see this getting slightly crowded during more crowded vacation periods. Getting to the beach is very easy as it is super close by.
