Columbia Gorge Hotel & Spa

The hotel is in a beautiful setting and if you get a river facing room, you do not hear the freeway on the other side. Lots of old world charm and the service couldn't be better. Great staff all around. Our evening meal of salad, lamb shanks, with rice was delicious. A guests dog was barking on the 3rd floor (2nd floor is identified as pet friendly) and was annoying. The rooms are comfortable but the beds are quite firm and disrupted sleep for both of us. Would recommend for an overnight stay for the experience and vistas.

Dinner and breakfast were wonderful and generous. Very beautiful presentation.

We wish we had another day or two.

The gardens are beautiful! Rock bridges, flowers, a creek and waterfall on the property, views of the amazing Columbia River Gorge!

An unbeatable location to see the Columbia River Gorge. The room was large - old but classy. The spring mattress was not great, and you could slightly hear noises from the adjacent rooms. The staff was friendly, and there are many nice places to eat nearby, although many close by 9pm. Overall, we had a nice stay.

The hotel and rooms are gorgeous, as are the grounds. Would love a coffee maker in the room, but appreciated the coffee and lounge downstairs. Pretty sure l shared the room with someone who liked to trigger the closet light , but that didn't bother me. The massage was divine and I enjoyed dinner.

Hello, yes we did post a nice long review. I forgot what side I posted it on so thank you for sending this one right from the hotel. We had a wonderful time. I would rate it 10 excellent staff manager people in the dining room the lady at the service desk, everybody was just wonderfully friendly supportive. If we had a question it was answered. The grounds are beautiful and walkable with a nice path all the way around we loved our room. It was very clean too beautiful open windows that we could look out and see the view. The waterfall was wonderful. We enjoyed that room location so much and yes, we will be back. Thank you so much for making our stay so pleasant.

Good location, friendly staff, beautiful property. Bathroom was not the cleanest and many outdoor lights on the grounds that we were excited to experience were not maintained/functioning. Good coffee and biscotti in the morning. Probably will not stay again for the price, but will recommend it as a one time stay for friends that have not been there.
